A cluster of small, intensely bright point sources. Light is strongest directly beneath each emitter and falls off quickly in between, leaving hot spots and shadowed gaps.

Photobiomodulation
Photobiomodulation (PBM) is the use of specific wavelengths of light to trigger a biological response in cells — without heat, chemicals, or incisions. Light at the right wavelength and dose is absorbed by mitochondria, which respond by producing more ATP, the cell's energy currency.
